From a short civil ceremony at the mairie to a full day with portraits by the Eiffel Tower. We plan the timing with you, photograph the day as it happens and guide you through the portraits, so you can enjoy your wedding instead of managing it.

How much of your day we cover
- Ceremony and portraits. Around three hours: the ceremony, family photos and a portrait walk nearby. Around 150 edited photos.
- Half day. Around six hours: getting ready, the ceremony, portraits in Paris and the start of the celebration. Around 350 edited photos.
- Full day. Around nine hours, from getting ready to the first dance. Around 700 edited photos.
Every wedding is quoted after a short call, because no two days have the same timing. Tell us your date and plans, and we will send you a proposal.
How your Paris wedding day works
- A call before the day. We go through your timing, the venue, family photos and the places you would like for portraits.
- A plan for the portraits. We choose spots near your venue and fit them into the day, so nobody waits around.
- The day itself. We photograph the ceremony and the people as they are, and guide you through the portraits so you always know what to do.
- Your photos. A first selection of 10 to 15 photos within a week to share with family, and the full edited gallery within one month.
Five frames from one wedding

All five come from the same couple’s day in Paris: the Petit Palais, Pont Alexandre III and the Seine.
Your wedding photographer
Anastasia or Anatolii usually photographs our Paris weddings. Julia helps you plan the photography before the day: the schedule, family groups, portraits near your venue and an option for rain. Your photographer receives the plan in advance and works with you in English.
For a full wedding day, a second photographer can be arranged. This allows us to cover different parts of the day at the same time, such as guests at the reception while you have your portraits taken.
Where to take your wedding portraits in Paris
Avenue de Camoëns and Bir-Hakeim for the Eiffel Tower, Pont Alexandre III for the gilded lamps and the river, the Louvre courtyard for stone and arches, and the gardens of the Palais Royal for something calmer. We pick what fits between your ceremony and dinner.
Planning photos around your wedding venue
Tell us where you are getting married and celebrating, and we will plan the portraits around your venues and schedule. If you are still choosing a setting, our guide to Paris wedding venues includes hotels, restaurants, private mansions and châteaux.
We photograph civil ceremonies and symbolic celebrations. If you plan to marry legally in France, check the requirements with the relevant mairie before making arrangements. Some couples complete the legal ceremony at home and hold a symbolic celebration in Paris. For a smaller celebration, see our Paris elopement page.
Before the wedding
Many couples also book a session a day or two before or after the wedding, in a simpler outfit or the wedding clothes again, without the time pressure. See our engagement and pre-wedding photoshoot. Planning something small, just the two of you? Have a look at our Paris elopement page. For an example of wedding portraits in the city, see our wedding photoshoot at The Peninsula Paris.
Video
Short clips from the phone during the day are included as a bonus. A wedding film is a separate craft that needs a videographer, and we are happy to recommend one we trust.

Wedding photography: questions
How much does a wedding photographer in Paris cost?
It depends on how many hours of your day we cover and what happens in them. Tell us your date, venue and timing, and after a short call we will send you a proposal.
How many photos will we get, and when?
Roughly 150 for a ceremony with portraits, 350 for half a day and 700 for a full day. A first selection arrives within a week, the full gallery within one month.
Can we take portraits at the Eiffel Tower on our wedding day?
Yes. We plan a short portrait stop at Avenue de Camoëns or Bir-Hakeim, where it is calm enough for a wedding dress, and fit it between the ceremony and dinner.
Do you photograph civil ceremonies at the mairie?
Yes. We can photograph the ceremony and portraits afterward. If you are arranging a legal marriage in France, confirm your eligibility and the required documents directly with the mairie.
How far ahead should we book?
As soon as you have a date and a venue, so we can hold the day for you.
Who will photograph our wedding?
Usually Anastasia or Anatolii. Julia plans the details with you, and your photographer receives the schedule, family photo list and portrait locations before the day.
What if it rains on our wedding day?
We discuss a covered option for portraits when planning the day, using your venue or a suitable location nearby. If you would like some outdoor photos in light rain, we can include those too.
Do you work in English?
Yes. We can plan your wedding photography in English, and your photographer speaks English on the day.
