Booking and payment
How do we book a photoshoot?
Send us your dates through the form below or on WhatsApp. We reply within a few hours with free times and a route idea, and a small deposit holds your date.
How far ahead should we book?
As soon as you know your dates. Mornings and the hour before sunset go first.
How do we pay?
The deposit is paid by card or PayPal, and the rest on the day of the shoot, by card or in cash.
Can we cancel or move the date?
Yes. More than two weeks before the shoot the deposit is refunded. Closer to the date it is not refunded, but it does not expire: we move your session to another day of your trip.
How much does a photoshoot cost?
Every length and extra is on our prices page. Weddings and elopements are quoted after a short call.
Before the shoot
Do you speak English?
Yes. Every message, call and shoot is in English.
Who will photograph us?
One of our Paris photographers: Anastasia, Maria or Philippine. If you would like a particular one, tell us and we check her availability on your date; if not, we suggest the photographer whose style suits your session. We tell you who it is when we confirm your date.
What if our photographer falls ill?
Your session still goes ahead. Another photographer from our Paris team takes it, with the same route and the same plan, so your day in Paris is not lost.
Where do we meet?
At the first spot of your route. For the Eiffel Tower it is usually Avenue de Camoëns, and you get a map pin before the day. What should we wear?
Plain colours, coordinated rather than matching, and shoes you can walk in on cobblestones. Send us your outfits before the trip and we tell you honestly how they will look on camera. Want a gown? See dress rental in Paris.
Can you arrange hair and makeup?
Yes. We book the best artist available on your date, and they come to your hotel before the shoot.
On the day
We have never done a photoshoot. Can you help us pose?
That is most of our clients. We guide you through natural poses and movement from the first minute, so you always know what to do.
What happens if it rains?
Light rain often makes Paris look its best. If it pours, we move your shoot to another day or time of your trip at no cost.
Do we need a permit to take photos in Paris?
Not for a private session with one photographer and no tripod, lights or crew in the streets, bridges and parks. Paris filming permits are for professional productions.
Is it allowed to photograph the Eiffel Tower at night?
Yes. Personal photos of the lit tower are fine; the restriction only concerns commercial use of the lighting design.
Your photos
How many photos do we get, and when?
50 hand-edited photos for one hour, in a private online gallery within one week. Express editing in 24 to 48 hours is available.
How do we receive the photos?
In a private online gallery where you can view, download and share them, and order prints. The gallery stays open for downloads for two months.
Do we get behind-the-scenes videos?
Yes. A few short behind-the-scenes videos reach you on the day, so you can share the moment right away.
Can we use the photos on social media or for our business?
Yes. The photos are yours to share and print, and you can use them on your website and in ads. We only ask you to tag us if you are happy to.
