photographer-in-paris.com is a booking website operated by Tripotographer Inc. (“Tripotographer”, “we”, “us”). These terms apply to every photoshoot booked with us. Whether you first contact us through this website, by email or by messenger, every booking is confirmed on a personal booking page: you accept these terms when you tick the box there and pay. We send you the version you accepted together with your booking confirmation, so you can keep it.

1. Who you book with and who photographs you

Your contract is with Tripotographer Inc. We plan your session, take your payment, edit and deliver your photos, and we are responsible to you for the whole service. The session itself is photographed by the independent professional photographer named on your booking page. If that photographer becomes unavailable, we offer you another photographer of the same standard, a new time, or a full refund, and you choose.

2. Booking and payment

Your booking page shows the city, date, time, meeting point, photographer, package and price. Please check these details before you pay. The price shown is the total you pay for the session; applicable taxes, if any, are included in it, and any travel fee for spots outside the city centre is shown before you pay. Your date is confirmed once we receive the deposit shown on your booking page. The balance is charged to the same card on the day of your session, before it starts; we remind you two days earlier, and you can pay it earlier through your booking link at any time. If the charge fails, you can pay by card through your booking link at the meeting point, and the session starts once the payment is confirmed. All payments are made to Tripotographer Inc. by card through our payment provider, Stripe; our photographers never take payments; your card statement will show TRIPOTOGRAPHER. Prices are per session, not per person, and include the photographer’s time, planning, editing and your online gallery.

3. Cancellation and changes

If you cancel more than 14 days before the shoot, we refund everything you have paid. If you cancel 14 days or less before the shoot, we refund everything you have paid above the deposit; the deposit itself is not refunded, but it stays valid for 24 months as credit for a new session in any of our cities (if the new session costs more, you pay the difference). The credit runs for 24 months from the day you cancel, is kept in the currency you paid, and the new session must take place within that time; if the new session costs more, you pay the difference, and if it costs less, the remainder is not refunded. You can move your date or time free of charge, subject to the photographer’s availability. If we have to cancel for any reason, or cannot provide the session as agreed, we refund everything you paid; a credit is offered only as an alternative if you prefer it.

Cancelling soon after booking: if you book more than 14 days before your session, you can also cancel for any reason within 14 days of booking and we refund everything you paid. If you book less than 14 days before your session, you ask us to start preparing it straight away, and the cancellation terms above apply. To cancel, email us or use the “Cancel or withdraw” link in your confirmation; refunds are made to your card within 14 days.

4. Weather and safety

If rain, strong wind, an official weather warning or other conditions make the shoot impossible or unsafe, we move it to another time or day for free. If there is no other time before you leave, we refund everything you paid. Clouds or light wind alone are not a reason to reschedule, but we will always discuss the forecast with you.

5. On the day

Please arrive at the meeting point on time. If you are late, the session still ends at the agreed time, and the number of photos may be smaller. If the photographer is late, we add the missed time at the end or reduce the price accordingly. Extra time on the spot is possible if the photographer is free, at the hourly rate.

6. Your photos

You receive the number of edited photos and the delivery time listed on your booking page, in a private online gallery. The photographer selects the best frames and we edit them in our signature style; frames with closed eyes, blur or duplicates are left out. Unedited files are not included unless agreed in advance. The gallery stays available for download for at least 60 days.

7. Rights in the photos

Under our agreements with our photographers, Tripotographer Inc. holds the rights needed to edit, deliver and license your photos. We give you a permanent, worldwide licence to use your photos for yourself and for your own business: printing, sharing, social media, your websites and your own advertising. You may not sell the photos, license them to others or offer them as stock. Our licence covers our rights only; permissions from other people who appear in the photos, or from locations with their own rules, remain your responsibility.

We publish your photos only if you choose to allow it. On the booking page you can tick two separate optional boxes: one for our portfolio and social media, and one for paid advertising. Leaving them empty changes nothing in the price or the service. By ticking a box you confirm that every person aged 18 or over in the photos agrees; where other adults take part (for example a proposal or a group), we also ask for a short confirmation of the chosen photos after the session before we publish anything. If children take part, the adult who books confirms they are entitled to give these permissions for them. You can withdraw your permission at any time by email: we make no new uses and remove the photos from the channels we control within 14 days. Copies that other people have already made or shared are outside our control.

8. If something goes wrong

We take great care with every session and back up every shoot. If we do not deliver the service as agreed, you can ask us to put it right (a repeat session where that is possible), to reduce the price, or to refund the amount you paid, as the law of your country provides. Beyond that, our liability for losses is limited to the amount you paid for the session. This limit does not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, for example for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or where your consumer law does not allow a limit. Your session is one part of your trip: we do not cover flights, accommodation or other travel costs, except where the law of your country entitles you to them because of our fault. Restrictions at locations are outside our control; in that case we help you choose another spot. Weddings and elopements are booked under a separate written agreement.

9. Your rights as a consumer

Nothing in these terms limits the rights that the consumer law applicable to you gives you and that cannot be waived by agreement.

10. Personal data

Tripotographer Inc. is the controller of your data. We use your details to plan, perform and deliver your session, to take payment and to answer your messages. We share them only with the people and services that make this possible: your photographer, our payment provider (Stripe), our gallery service, our booking and messaging system (Kommo), our email service (Brevo), our business email and storage (Google Workspace) and our photo editors. If you have accepted marketing cookies on our website, Meta receives data about your visit for our advertising; this is separate from your photos, which we publish only with the permission described in section 7. Our photographers, editors and some of these services work outside the EEA and the UK; where the law requires it, we put safeguards such as standard contractual clauses in place with them. We keep your booking details for as long as tax law requires and your photos for the period stated in our Privacy Policy, where you also find your rights and how to use them.
