This family of four met us early, while the avenue below the Eiffel Tower was still quiet. We planned the session as a short walk with the tower always somewhere in the frame, so the photos would look like a good morning in Paris rather than a posing exercise.
Cream, white and soft beige kept the whole gallery calm and timeless, and the morning light did the rest. Between the bigger family portraits there was time for the small moments: a father lifting his daughter by the Seine, a brother and sister hugging on the avenue, the parents alone for a minute on the river wall.
From the avenue below the tower we walked down to the Seine by Pont d’Iéna, then finished on a cobbled street between Haussmann buildings, with the tower over the rooftops. Short stops and no long walks: that is how we plan every family route with children.
